*Hi-Lon Glass Services Ltd. is an award-winning Glass Service Company that specializes in the repair or replacement of all makes and models of windows and doors*. Partners with top Condo Property Manager Companies throughout the Greater Toronto area since 1968. Over the years, Hi-Lon has developed relationships with a large network of suppliers. This enables us to obtain parts for windows and doors that other service companies do not readily have access to. As a result, Hi-Lon is often able to repair problems for a reasonable price whereas many of our competitors can only replace entire units or systems.
We are currently looking for *Glazier Apprentice* that have *1- 2yrs* experience working with glass and/or doors and would like to work towards becoming a Glazier.
*Duties and responsibilities*
* Ensure a safe and tidy work area. * Carry tools to and from work sites. * Assist with cutting glass, products to size. * Take accurate measurements using an imperial tape measure. * Assist in the installation of glass, screens, windows, thermal units, patio doors and steel doors with attention to details. * Assist in the installation of hardware for windows and doors. * Perform installation of weather-stripping and caulking on windows. * Uphold Hi-Lon's company rules and procedures. * Provide excellent customer service. * Other duties as assigned.
*Qualifications*
* Effective time management, prioritization and multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines. * Energetic, self-motivated, and results-oriented. * Team player who is both flexible and adaptable. * A valid G driver?s license. * An acceptable driver?s abstract. * An acceptable criminal records check. * WAH certificate preferred. * Able to do heavy lifting (50lbs).
*Education*
* Secondary (high school) graduate certificate.
