The Aboriginal Friendship Centres of Saskatchewan (AFCS) is seeking enthusiastic, community-minded individuals to join the new Navigating Horizons Indigenous Youth Leadership Program as Casual Youth Program Coordinators. This is a flexible, part-time position supporting Indigenous youth (ages 1225) as they participate in leadership development, cultural activities, mentorship, workshops, volunteer experiences, and community events. Successful candidates will serve as local contacts in their region, helping recruit and support youth while working closely with the Provincial Youth Program Manager. Responsibilities Build positive relationships with Indigenous youth in your area Recruit and engage participants Assist with coordinating workshops, activities, and community events Support youth during program activities and mentorship opportunities Maintain communication with participants and community partners Help track participant attendance and program hours Identify local Elders, Knowledge Keepers, mentors, guest speakers, and community partners Qualifications Enjoy working with youth Have strong connections within their community/region Be organized, reliable, and approachable Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Be comfortable working independently while collaborating with the provincial program team Be willing to work evenings and occasional weekends as required Be able to travel within the region Have access to reliable transportation Experience working with Indigenous youth, Friendship Centres, community organizations, recreation, education, or cultural programming is considered a strong asset For More Information, please visit www.afcs.ca/about/careers/
