Protex Environmental Since it's original formation in 1971, Protex has been a leader in providing a full line of environmental services across Saskatchewan. Protex services commercial, industrial, and institutional organizations in solid waste disposal and recycling, industrial cleaning, vacuum truck services, used oil materials recovery and recycling, and other specialized services. Position & ScopeThe Vacuum / Hydrovac Truck Operator position is responsible to perform a very diverse range of activities within our company including: car wash interceptor pit cleaning, sewage loading and hauling, hydro-excavating, hazardous waste loading and hauling, confined space entry. Training for (and operation of) Roll-off, Front-end, and Side-Load Waste and Recycling collection equipment, container maintenance, equipment maintenance, buildings and facilities work, and other duties as assigned. The Operator will require a high level of professionalism and customer service, which will be used to consistently build positive customer relationships and to promote Protex Environmental's service throughout Saskatchewan. Key Accountabilities- Follow schedules and service orders in accordance with the Service Coordinator's instructions- Provide exceptional on-site service to customers and continuously promote Protex's service offerings- Complete service paperwork in accordance with Protex and TDG regulations- Safely operate all required Equipment & ensure regular cleaning- Participate in the Protex safety programs Requirements- Only candidates with a Class 3A or 1A Driver's License, and an acceptable Driver's abstract will be considered.- Able to work independently- Customer service experience- TDG knowledge and experience- Experience working in a safety sensitive environment- Ability to work out of town and overnight trips, including multiple days in a row from time to time (all costs covered)
