About this role
The Saskatoon Friendship Inn is a high energy fast paced work environment. This is an 8-week position that is funded through Canada Summer Jobs. We are looking for an experienced line cook capable of cooking and serving 500-700 hot meals per day with our team. Applicants must have prior experience in restaurant or banquets/catering. We have outfitted our kitchen with new technology which includes software-based cooking and retherming. Experience with combi ovens would be asset but is not a requirement. Applicant must be able to work weekends. The Friendship Inn is a large scale soup kitchen serving the vulnerable sector in the Riversdale area of Saskatoon. At present we provide 1000-1500 meals a day.
