ROLE SUMMARY : The Heritage College Nursing Program provides a part-time, three-year RN competency-based diploma program. Given that nursing is a practice-based profession, we believe that clinical experience is a vital and integral component of the curriculum, providing students with hands-on opportunities to practice their nursing skills under direct supervision of their clinical instructor. The clinical instructor supports student learning, liaises with assigned nurses in a clinical unit and collaborates with the Faculty Team Leader. The clinical instructor role is an essential and powerful component of nursing education.
DUTIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, and several years of teaching experience at the university or college level is preferred. • A minimum of 3 years of Pediatric Nursing Experience. • Fluency in English , both oral and written is required. • Knowledge of software as per program requirements is necessary. • Must be a member of the College of Nurses of Ontario. • Hold an OIIQ (Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec) license for all Quebec placements. • Experience in pediatric nursing at CHEO is required to be eligible for a placement at CHEO.

SALARY RANGE (PER HOUR): 57,548.00$ - 110,825.00$
