*Duties*
* Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in flavor and presentation. * Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas. * Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests. * Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. * Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to the kitchen manager. * Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
*Experience*
* Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. * Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. * Strong cooking skills with the ability to prepare a variety of dishes efficiently. * Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen setting is highly desirable. * A passion for the culinary arts and a willingness to learn new techniques are important traits for success in this role.
