We are seeking compassionate, caring, and resident-focused individuals who have a passion for long-term care.Dietary Services WorkerCasualThe Dietary Services Worker works collaboratively with the Director of Environmental Services and Maintenance to provide our residents with quality of life and attention, demonstrating professionalism and respect, adhering to policies and procedures while completing the tasks as outlined in the Dietary Services Worker job description.QualificationsGrade twelve (12) or equivalent preferred but students can applyMust have related experience, preferably in a long-term care settingExperience in handling of Industrial chemicals, with current WHMIS (will provide)Ability and confidence to work independently or within a teamAbility to prioritize tasksMust be able to follow written and verbal communicationMust demonstrate an understanding and caring attitude and ability to communicate effectively with people of various personalities and various levels of physical and mental functioning.Ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff in all departments at NQNH, family members and volunteersMust be physically able to perform the duties of the job and adapt to changes in temperature. This is a weight-bearing job that requires long periods of standing.
