Join our team and help make a difference for our residents!We are seeking compassionate, caring, and resident focused individuals who have a passion for long term care.Environmental Services WorkerCasualThe Environmental Services Worker works collaboratively with the Director of Environmental Services and Maintenance to provide our residents with quality of life and attention, demonstrating professionalism and respect, adhering to policies and procedures while completing the tasks as outlined in the Environmental Services Worker job description.QualificationsGrade twelve (12) or equivalent preferred but students can applyMust have related experience, preferably in a long-term care settingExperience in handling of Industrial chemicals, with current WHMIS (will provide)Ability and confidence to work independently or within a teamAbility to prioritize tasksMust be able to follow written and verbal communicationMust demonstrate an understanding and caring attitude and ability to communicate effectively with people of various personalities and various levels of physical and mental functioning.Ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff in all departments at NQNH, family members and volunteersMust be physically able to preform the duties of the jobSchedule: Primarily days, evenings and weekends may be required.Rate of Pay: (As per the collective agreement)Please apply with resume and cover letter to:Roxane CanningHR and Business [email protected]
