Duties: - Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance - Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various automotive tasks - Diagnose mechanical problems using schematics and technical manuals - Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues before they become major problems - Maintain accurate records of all services performed and parts used - Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining quality standards - Assist in heavy lifting as required during vehicle repairs or part replacements - Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques Requirements: - Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic - Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various automotive systems - Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment - Ability to read and understand schematics related to automotive systems - Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction - Capability to perform heavy lifting when necessary during repairs or maintenance tasks - Valid driver's license - Automotive service technician certificate for 2nd(+) year - Tech-savvy with experience using digital tools and software, specifically: - Proficiency in using tablet-based systems and cloud-based shop management software - Ability to navigate and utilize digital platforms for efficient workflow and customer management
