About the role.As a Toteroom Operator, you will play a critical role in supporting packaging and warehouse operations by safely transporting, storing, and managing finished and in-process products. This position ensures the continuous flow of materials to production lines while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What you'll be doing.Operate lift trucks safely and defensively to prevent product damage and injuryVisually inspect pallets prior to dumping onto the production lineEnsure packaging lines are continuously and adequately supplied with productAccurately scan, store, and move totes within WMS and SAP systemsComplete all required documentation, including operator checklists and system entriesMaintain housekeeping standards and perform sanitation duties (e.g., breaking down totes, disposing of waste)Manage forklift battery rotation and ensure equipment is in safe working conditionCommunicate effectively with team members regarding issues, changes, or production needsWork in cold room environments and support tote/grading operations as requiredMeet SQCDME targets by understanding and contributing to KPI performanceSupport cross-training initiatives and assist with other production tasks as needed What you'll need to be successful.Grade 12 diploma or GED considered an assetValid forklift operator's certificate or willingness to obtain certificationAbility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekendsKnowledge of lift truck operation and safe driving proceduresStrong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervisionSelf-motivated with strong teamwork and communication skillsAbility to lift up to approximately 40 kgExperience with WMS and SAP systems considered an assetComfortable working with cleaning chemicals and in cold environmentsCommitment to following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety standards About the team.You will be part of the Packaging and Warehouse Operations team, working closely with Packaging Coaches, Shift Coaches, and fellow operators to ensure efficient product flow and safe operations. Compensation Package: - Starting at 23.25 CAD hourly + Bonus eligibility + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting.
