Linkwave is looking for an RF Technician to join our team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our cutting-edge communication systems.
You will work with advanced RF equipment, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to the innovation and excellence that drive our success.
In order to fulfill the tasks at hand, you?ll need to be highly experienced with this entire stack:
_Analyzing Commercial Requirements_
* Performing site surveys * Conduct indoor RF surveys using an RF scanner, user devices, architectural plans and logging software * Assist in designing RF coverage solutions for in-building locations (Malls, Underground, Stores, public avenue, etc.) * Installation project management and technical oversight
_Commissioning and Troubleshooting the Distributed Antenna System_
* Optimization, troubleshooting and maintenance of in-building systems to meet design criteria * Perform checks and verifications to ensure optimal performance * Review and test every electronic component, cable connection, and signal pathway to ensure seamless transmission across the DAS network
_Supporting Team Members_
* Support with providing valuable technical information for landlord design approval * Working closely with other Engineering and Operations team members related to in-building projects and provide support where required
_Ad-hoc Tasks_
* Updating and reporting project status at weekly basis * Perform, record, collect and organize all data and documentation

To get to know you better, it would be great if your resume can demonstrate the following experience:
* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Engineering Technologist program or equivalent * DAS System training/certification for and experience with any of the DAS OEM platforms: TE, Mobile Access, SOLiD, Andrew/CommScope, ADRF, Fiplex/Honeywell, BTI/Sunwave. * Training/certification for UMTS, LTE, NR, P25, TETRA * Fundamental understanding of the physics behind RF wave propagation theory * Ability to apply logarithmic RF math concepts to perform power link budget calculations, and compare different products via their technical specifications * Ability to use basic office applications, including Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook/Email, Adobe Acrobat * Excellent customer interface skills with a teamwork mentality * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Innovative and open minded to new techniques and technologies * Attitude-focused on team success and improving the customer experience * Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment * Possession of a Class 5 class driver?s license in good standing * Willingness and ability to travel as needed for work-related tasks * iBwave training/experience is an asset
