*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and have a strong commitment to promoting oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in educating patients about dental hygiene practices and ensuring their comfort during visits.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess the oral health of patients. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. * Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records using Dentrix or similar dental software. * Assist with periodontal therapy and provide support for orthodontic treatments when necessary. * Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to ensure comprehensive patient care. * Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient concerns and inquiries effectively. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
*Qualifications*
* Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. * Experience in a dental office setting is preferred, particularly in pediatrics or orthodontics. * Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is advantageous. * Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental management software is a plus. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse patient population. * Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence. * Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
