Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Commercial. Millwork/pre-fab shopwork. Residential. Tasks: Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Instruct apprentices. Supervise other workers. Utilize hand and power tools. Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence.
