About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Select appropriate paint or mix paints. Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted. Help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed. Load, move, sort and pile materials and supplies. Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Attention to detail. Personal suitability: Client focus. Dependability. Reliability. Team player. Hardworking. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.) .
