Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Cafeteria. Food service establishment. On-site customer service. Tasks: Requisition food and kitchen supplies. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food. Hire food service staff. Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage. Prepare food order summaries for chef. Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres. Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys. Establish work schedules. Supervision: 3-4 people. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Standing for extended periods. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
