Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Fruit and vegetable combination farming. Outdoors. Tasks: Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain quality control and production records. Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations. Maintain work records and logs. Hire and train staff. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Perform general farm duties. Apply the technique of hoeing between the row. Area of specialization: Agricultural crop service. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Tight deadlines. Attention to detail. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
