Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Pharmacy or drugstore. Tasks: Ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate. Enter client information in databases. Help pharmacists. Maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products. Maintain prescription records . Prepare medications for clients. Compound, package and label pharmaceutical products. Bill third party insurers. Compound oral solutions, ointments and creams. Perform general clerical duties. Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail.
