Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Noisy. Dusty. Tasks: Construct clay models and moulds for use in casting concrete products. Operate blade or wire saws to cut blocks of stone to specified dimensions. Move products using forklift, crane or hydraulic hoist. Operate machines to grind and polish surfaces of stone blocks, slabs or other stone products to specific shape or design and to produce a smooth finish. Operate sandblasting equipment to cut inscriptions or decorative designs in monumental stone. Perform ongoing machine adjustments. Read blueprint, schemas and drawings. Operate machines to drill holes in blocks or slabs of stone according to specifications. Remove castings from moulds. Employment terms options: Early morning. Other: Use of artificial intelligence.
