About this role

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Dusty. Hot. Noisy. Tasks: Minimize hazards at all stages of the food production process. Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies. Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units. Supervision: 5-10 people. Labourers in food, beverage and tobacco processing. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Forklift Operator Certification. Regulations knowledge: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Fast-paced environment. Handling heavy loads. Attention to detail. Work under pressure. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Safety glasses/goggles. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Flexibility. Team player. Reliability.
