Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Professionalism in customer service. Load and unload goods. Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Driver's License (Class 1 or A). Documentation knowledge: Accident or incident reports. Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Trip reports. Transportation/travel experience: Long-haul. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads. Repetitive tasks. Sitting. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Organized. Team player.
