<p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Job Title: Specialist, Procurement </strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Job Code</strong><strong>: 39811</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Job Location:</strong><strong> </strong><strong>Anaheim CA </strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Schedule: 9/80</strong></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Job Description: </strong></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">The Material Estimator will work and is responsible for accurately compiling the complete cost of materials needed for various projects and tasks in support of production and spares proposals.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Essential Functions: </strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Responsible for all aspects of proposal material estimating including but not limited to the following:</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Meticulously generates a Consolidated Bill of Materials (CBOM), tailored to align with the specific schedule and unique demands of each proposal based on the RFP.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Leverages a combination of supplier quotes, historical purchase data, price lists/catalogs, available stock materials, engineering estimates, and any relevant adjustments to determine items to be sent out for supplier quotations.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Conduct thorough analyses of technical drawings, parts lists, specifications, and related documents to accurately ascertain estimating needs.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Compiles, reviews, and approves all material cost data and provides the accurate detailed priced complete CBOM spreadsheet/report with lead-times to the Pricing Department.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Effectively communicates with external individuals and internal customers to deliver projects under pressure and meet proposal deadlines and budget contraints to external customers.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Actively supports GATE reviews and robust support during Customer/DCAA audits.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Ensures that all estimations and procurement activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Maintain accurate records of estimated and actual material usage for future reference and continuous improvement of estimation processes.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Conduct FAR 15 compliant and detailed analysis of suppliers TINA proposals and accompanying documentation to validate labor, products, and services. Assess and analyze source data to establish the reasonableness of the proposed costs and pricing.</span></span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Qualifications: </strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
