In the meantime, sign up for our <a href="https://pclcompaniest.valhalla.stage.jobs2web.com/lp/Industry%20Events_Test/0569ee90146e159a/?locale=en_US">talent community</a> to be the first to hear about PCL opportunities.</p><div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Responsibilities</b></H2> </div><div><ul type="disc"> <li>Review and perform quantity survey assignment with lead estimator</li> <li>Performs general sub-trade solicitation duties</li> <li>Bid document control</li> <li>Performs bid day assignments</li> <li>Sub-trade bid reviews and recapping</li> <li>Visits job sites periodically</li> <li>Use of in-house estimating software (BEST Estimating)</li> <li>Develops relationships with subcontractors</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Qualifications</b></H2> </div><div><ul type="disc"> <li>Desire a career in construction Project Management, Field Supervision, or Estimating.</li> <li>Pursuing an associate’s or bachelor's degree in Architectural Drafting & Estimating Technology, Construction Management, or related discipline.</li> <li>Any experience using the following; On-Screen Takeoff, Microsoft Excel and Word, Revit, Acrobat, and other computer software</li> <li>Required to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, with project personnel, suppliers, subcontractors and owners</li> <li>Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications, and perform quantity take offs</li> <li>Must be authorized to work in the US *PCL will not sponsor an employment visa (e.g. H1-B, etc.) for this position</li> <li>18 years of age or older</li> <li>Available to work in Los Angeles, CA full time from May to August</li> <li>Employment with PCL is contingent upon passing a substance abuse test conducted by a third party.</li> </ul></div></div></div><p><strong>Your</strong><strong> Work Has Purpose Here</strong> </p> <p>PCL projects are where life happens, where communities connect, careers begin, and progress is made.
