This role requires a strong technical understanding of financial modelling, cost accounting, and variance analysis to provide strategic, data-driven insights to Client’s executive leadership and business unit heads.</p> <p><strong><span>Key Responsibilities</span></strong></p> <p><strong>I. Budgeting & Financial Planning</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li><strong>Annual Budget & Forecast:</strong> Lead the end-to-end annual operating budget preparation and quarterly/monthly forecasting processes, collaborating closely with all Client departments to ensure alignment with Client corporate strategic goals.</li> <li><strong>Policy & Procedure:</strong> Develop, document, and enforce comprehensive budget policies, cost control procedures, and financial planning guidelines</li> <li><strong>Financial Modeling:</strong> Build and maintain dynamic, driver-based financial models (e.g., in Excel, Hyperion, or similar FP&A tools) for financial forecasting and long-range planning.</li> </ul> <p><strong>II. Performance Monitoring & Analysis</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li><strong>Variance Analysis:</strong> Conduct in-depth monthly and quarterly variance analysis, comparing actual financial results against budget and forecast.</li> <li><strong>Reporting:</strong> Prepare clear, concise, and actionable management reports that explain significant budget deviations, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions to management.</li> </ul> <p><strong>III. Cost Management & Optimization</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li><strong>Cost Analysis & Allocation:</strong> Implement and manage cost accounting systems (e.g., Activity-Based Costing (ABC) ensuring accurate product/service costing and logical allocation of overhead expenses to cost centers.</li> </ul> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li><strong>Optimization:</strong> Lead initiatives to analyze cost structures, identify inefficiencies, and recommend cost-saving measures to improve operational profitability without compromising quality.</li> <li><strong>Cost Driver Evaluation:</strong> Systematically evaluate key cost drivers using statistical and analytical methods to enhance forecasting accuracy and control mechanisms.</li> </ul> <p><strong>IV. Working Capital & Liquidity Management</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li><strong>Working Capital Optimization:</strong> Monitor and manage key components of net working capital, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Inventory.</li> <li><strong>Cash Conversion Cycle:</strong> Analyze and identify opportunities to shorten the Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC) by optimizing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO), and Days Payable Outstanding (DPO).</li> </ul> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li><strong>Cash Flow Forecasting:</strong> Develop and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts to manage liquidity risk and optimize cash utilization.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong><span>Required Qualifications & Skills</span></strong></p> <p><strong>Education & Certification</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li><strong>Education:</strong> Minimum MBA (Preferably in Accounting and Finance).</li> <li><strong>Certification:</strong> Relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, or CFA) is strongly preferred.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Technical Skills</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li><strong>Financial Modelling</strong></li> <li><strong>Cost Accounting:</strong> In-depth knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and advanced cost accounting methodologies (e.g., ABC, Standard Costing).</li> <li><strong>Software Proficiency:</strong> Experience with large-scale ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and dedicated FP&A/EPM software (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan, Adaptive Planning).</li> <li><strong>Data Visualization:</strong> Experience using BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to present complex financial data.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Analytical & Soft Skills</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li><strong>Analytical Acumen:</strong> Exceptional ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and translate technical analysis into clear, strategic business insights.</li> <li><strong>Communication:</strong> Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders and senior management.</li> <li><strong>Business Partnership:</strong> Proven ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams</li> <li><strong>Proactivity & Detail Orientation:</strong> Self-starter with a meticulous approach to data accuracy and the ability to manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we offer</strong> </p> <p>We offer a competitive compensation package where you’ll be rewarded based on performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business.
