This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly established function within ADS-one that is redefining how the State partners with its strategic technology vendors to deliver critical services to over 12,000 users. Working alongside one peer in an equivalent role, this position will play a key part in building and maturing vendor management practices, driving value, accountability, and innovation across a diverse portfolio of IT partners.</p> <p> </p> <p>The ideal candidate is a strategic relationship builder who thrives in a collaborative, evolving environment and is energized by the opportunity to influence a new and impactful practice from the ground up. The role involves intensive interaction with departmental officials who may advocate strongly for their programs. Implementation of recommendations may be difficult because of competing interests and limited resources. Rapid response in the face of tight deadlines may be necessary. Some travel may be required for which private means of transportation should be available.
