Our application system is intuitive and easy to use, and we look forward to learning more about you as you complete your profile and submit your application.</span></span></p> <p style="margin-right:0.0in;margin-left:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><span style="color:black">Good luck, and thank you again for applying!</span></span></p> <p> </p><div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Summary</b></H2> </div><div><p>Responsible for monitoring and operating all processing and packaging equipment within the pellet production facility, and for monitoring and controlling product quality and production rates.</p> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Duties and Responsibilities</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Performs all field functions related to the start-up and operation of all process and packaging equipment.</li> <li>Mill Responsibilities:</li> <li>Clean mills/maintain mills.</li> <li>Set Rolls.</li> <li>Once mills are started watch and listen for unusual sights (smoke, steam etc.) and sounds (loud rumble etc.).</li> <li>Check pellets at the mills and coolers for length, color and durability.</li> <li>Keep mill & cooler area clean.</li> <li>Packaging Responsibilities:</li> <li>Clean bagging system.</li> <li>Start bagger with correct bags.</li> <li>Change date stamp.</li> <li>Startup palletizer, robot, and wrapper.</li> <li>Reset counters on bagger and wrapper.</li> <li>Make sure scale is set to correct weight for bag size.</li> <li>Make sure robot count (layer and bag) is correct and the correct UL#.</li> <li>Check seals on bags at bagger and wrapper.</li> <li>Conducts quality control tests for pellet product.</li> <li>Under direction of the Shift Foreman, makes plant adjustments for improving plant production and/or product quality.</li> <li>Uses forklifts and material handling equipment.</li> <li>Fills in as Warehouse & Shipping Operator as needed.</li> <li>Functions as maintenance technician during periods of maintenance downtime.</li> <li>Ensures all products are shipped or stored properly and counted accurately.</li> <li>Adheres to company safety policies and OSHA standards.</li> <li>Maintains a safe, neat, orderly accident free work environment, including all warehouse work areas, aisles, trucks, etc.</li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Qualification Requirements</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent, plus two years’ experience working as an operator in processing / manufacturing setting.</li> <li>Previous warehouse experience.</li> <li>Must possess a valid driver’s license.</li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Must be able to work for long periods under a wide range of ambient conditions.</li> <li>Must be able to work flexible hours.</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.</li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Physical Requirements</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Must be able to lift and carry 50-pound loads.</li> <li>Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.</li> </ul> </div></div></div><p>For employment within the United States, the W.C.
