It's an exciting time to join the DP World team!</span></span></p> <p style="margin-bottom:11.0px;text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Departments Currently Seeking Operations Supervisors:</span></span></p> <ul> <li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Inventory</span></span></li> <li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">RMA</span></span></li> <li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Builds</span></span></li> <li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Dock</span></span></li> </ul> <p style="margin-bottom:11.0px;text-align:justify"> </p><div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>About the Role</b></H2> </div><div><p><strong>How you will contribute </strong></p> <ul> <li>Plan, coordinate work, train, motivate, monitor and evaluate performance of team members; ensure their ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move materials.</li> <li>Monitor and measure team member performance for accuracy and document on daily production metrics.</li> <li>Identify and eliminate safety and housekeeping hazards to minimize workplace accidents.</li> <li>Ensure compliance of employees to processes, work instructions, standard work and work elements.</li> <li>Liaise with materials department to ensure on time receipt and shipment of material.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Your Key Qualifications </strong></p> <ul> <li>HS Diploma/GED required</li> <li>1 Year experience supervising or leading in a Data Center, Automotive, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain/Logistics facility.</li> <li>3 Years experience in a Data Center, Automotive, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain/Logistics facility. </li> <li>Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.</li> <li>Experience and or training regarding the Occupational Health & Safety, 5S, Lean Methodologies preferred.</li> <li>Intermediate computer operating skills in programs like Word, Excel, and Outlook</li> <li>Quality systems knowledge - to a reasonable level be able to monitor staff performance and costs within the department (including, but not limited to: time-keeping, quality, productivity, etc.) </li> <li>Adaptable - ability to thrive in a fast-paced enrvionement and work flexible schedules.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Physical Requirements</H2> </div><div><div>Clothing PPE: Ability to wear personal protective gear (which may include, but is not limited to, composite toe shoes, gloves, headwear, face masks, hearing protection, fall protection, high visibility clothing, and/or safety glasses)</div><div>Communication: Effectively in person andvia radio or other electronic means.</div><div>Dexterity: Use hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.</div><div>Moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily administrative nature.</div><div>Lifting: Lifting and or carrying objects up to 50 pounds.</div><div>Pushing or Pulling: Pushing/pulling objects up to 50 pounds.</div><div>Standing and Walking: Will need to stand for long periods of time, such as when packing items, or walk long distances, such as when picking items from different locations</div><div>Standing: Standing for extended periods of time</div><div>Postures: Bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching.</div></div></div></div><p style="margin-bottom:8.0px;text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b>Compensation</b></span></span></p> <p style="margin-bottom:8.0px;text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">DP World offers exciting and challenging roles within a growing international organization.
