We need someone who has a love for gardens and likes connecting with people. The Auckland Botanic Gardens are open to the public seven days a week, including weekends and public holidays. This role involves a 7-day work week, with rostered shifts that may fall on any day of the week to ensure coverage across the Gardens’ operating hours. Typical shifts run for 8 hours between 7:30am to 5:00pm, though flexibility is essential, as weekend and public holiday availability will be required. You’ll be part of a team that shares rostered duties, so a collaborative mindset and a passion for engaging with people in a public-facing environment are key. You might be a gardener looking to step away from physical work while still working within beautiful garden environments, supporting the curation of visitor experiences and tours.
