Flexible Working Options Hybrid Working Job Description Summary The Data Engineer will focus on assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of Data Product pipelines, gaining practical experience whilst working under the guidance of senior data engineers. Job Description
• Must have -SQL, GCP, Python Supports and enables others to use and benefit from existing data management systems.
• Highlights shortcomings and suggests improvements in current IT Security processes, systems and procedures within assigned unit and/or discipline. • Supports others by performing prescribed product development/engineering activities (e.g., analysing client situations, interpreting data, etc.) using existing procedures. • Supports others by performing prescribed project management activities following existing procedures. • Navigates a wide variety of existing processes, procedures and precedents to interpret data and identify possible answers. • Helps others use and benefit from the existing knowledge management systems. • Assigns short-term work schedules to a team of subordinates in order to achieve expectations and follow established timelines. • Works independently to collate and analyse data using pre-determined tools, methods and formats. • Develops personal capabilities using existing formal and informal training opportunities, while also coaching others as required. • Identifies shortcomings in existing processes, systems and procedures, then uses established change management programmes to deliver prescribed outcomes and/or provide support services. • Investigates questions related to existing programmes, processes and procedures. • Advises managers how to apply a wide variety of existing procedures and precedents.
