Title: DG BOSS: Air Terminal Assistant Manager (FN)
• Provide direct supervision for the Passenger Services, Air Freight, and ATOC functions of the Air Terminal. • Ensure safe, secure, efficient and timely processing of all passengers, cargo/mail which arrive, depart or transit the Air Terminal. • Supervise, evaluate and coach subordinates to include tracking and scheduling training requirements for personnel. • Knowledgeable in Cargo, Passenger and ATOC requirements in accordance with AMC regulations. • Certification in handling and inspecting Hazardous Cargo. • Interface with the Government's assigned Performance Assessment Representative (PAR). • Keep the Annex Manager informed on the quality and quantity of work performed throughout the Air Terminal. • Ensure the availability of qualified personnel for all phases of the Air Terminal's operations. • Monitor and maintain appropriate manning levels in all departments. • Monitor and enforce compliance with contractual, operational, and safety & security requirements, directives, and procedures. • Demonstrate knowledge of aircraft type, capabilities and configurations. • Perform other related duties assigned.
Basic Qualifications
• Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health. • Minimum 6 years of experience in managing and supervising in the functions of passenger and cargo movements by military and/or commercial airlift. • Knowledge in all applicable publications, regulations, manuals and instructions. • Valid driver’s license. • Must pass the AIRFIELD OPERATORS COURSE. • Must be computer literate I.E. MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe Acrobat and Outlook. • Must be proficient in English (reading/writing/speaking).
Preferred Qualifications
JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SPECIAL CERTIFICATION OR TRAINING
• Hazardous Material Inspector qualified. • Joint Inspector Qualified/Joint Inspection Instructor Qualified. • Aircraft Load Planner Qualified. • Supervisory experience in Air Terminal Functions. • REMOTE GLOBAL AIR TRANSPORTATION EXECUTION SYSTEM (RGATES). • AIR TRANSPORTATION WEB BASED TRAINING (ATWBT). • ALTERNATE WASO (WORKSTATION AREA SECURITY OFFICER)
EDUCATION:
• High School Graduate • College Graduate (Desired)
EXPERIENCE:
• Six (6) years in Supervising Passenger service, Air Cargo and Air Terminal Operations Center functions.
