Johnson Electric is committed to driving growth and creating long-term value for our stakeholders. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join our finance team. This role will play a pivotal role in advancing our financial reporting, finance related ESG reporting and special projects.

Job Summary

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, and driving initiatives to enhance governance and compliance with all the related regulations (including ESG). This role requires a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for sustainability and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting

• Prepare and manage accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly and, interim and annual results announcement • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies. • Responsible for group consolidation • Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.

Governance and ESG Reporting

• Monitor and report the governance policy and KPIs in the annual report or ESG report • Stay updated on ESG trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance with all the finance related ESG regulatory reporting requirements ( e.g. Climate Risk Assessment)

Special Projects

• Manage and execute finance-related special projects, including process improvements, system implementations, and M&A initiatives. • Provide financial analysis and support for ad hoc projects as required.

Qualifications and Skills

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; CPA/CA or equivalent qualification preferred. • Big Four audit experience will be considered an advantage. • 5-8 years of experience in financial reporting and related field. • Proven experience in preparing board papers and annual reports. • Experience in driving ESG initiatives or reporting preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (e.g., HK Listing rules, IFRS, GAAP) frameworks. • Knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks ( e.g. GRI, IFRS S2) preferred. • Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and ERP systems. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial software.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly. • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. • Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
