What You’ll Do

As the Manager – Manufacturing Engineering, you’ll lead a high-performing team focused on developing and sustaining test and manufacturing processes. You'll drive operational excellence across the product lifecycle—from new product introduction through to full-scale production.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of engineers supporting manufacturing, test, and integration processes.Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, R&D, Planning, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless operations.Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven methodologies.Oversee test equipment validation, production workflows, and product lifecycle transitions.Ensure on-time delivery, quality compliance, and a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.Guide technical documentation, training programs, and standardized work procedures.Develop team goals and individual development plans; foster a strong, collaborative culture.What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing) and 12+ years of experience or equivalent education and experience in lieu of degreeProficiency in LabVIEW and PythonExperience designing test hardware interfacesProven leadership in process improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective actionHands-on experience with manufacturing and testing of electromechanical systemsFamiliarity with ERP systems and managing BOMs, routings, and production costsStrong communication, project management, and team development skills

Preferred Experience:

IPC 610 Class 3 / J-STD-001 workmanship standardsSoldering, SMT/thru-hole assembly, box build, cables, and reworkRF, microwave, or timing system knowledgeExperience introducing new products into manufacturing (NPI)Understanding of GD&T and general mechanical fabrication processes Physical Requirements

This role involves regular use of hands, extended computer use, standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 lbs. Vision requirements include close and color vision for reviewing detailed graphics and schematics.
