💜 ABOUT THE ROLE As a Locum Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a key role within our Nuclear Medicine department, working solo at our clinic based at Rockhampton Base Hospital. We are flexible with dates and duration – (4 weeks minimum ideally). You will be responsible for:
• Performing high-quality Nuclear Medicine • Radiopharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures • Maintaining best practice radiation safety standards • Supporting and mentoring junior staff and graduates • Delivering exceptional patient-centred care • Working collaboratively with Radiologists and multidisciplinary clinical teams
🙋♀️ ABOUT YOU ✔ Current AHPRA registration and relevant Nuclear Medicine qualifications ✔ Demonstrated experience in Nuclear Medicine ✔ Strong knowledge of radiation safety and quality assurance procedures ✔ Excellent communication and patient care skills ✔ Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team ✔ Passion for mentoring and supporting junior technologists ✔ Australian working rights
