Team Description
Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful results for clients. Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, digital marketing and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients.
Specific Responsibilities include:
Support the preparation of client project proposals, providing input to objectives, scope, deliverables, approach, dependencies, roles and responsibilitiesLead consulting initiatives and contribute to closing engagements by identifying potential opportunities with clients for future engagements.Produce insights, analyses, and recommendations to improve client performance, boost growth, drive understanding of client issues and provide strategic mentorship for client priorities.Perform client-specific analysis on portfolio data including proprietary information, such as customer demographics, activity, spend levels, behavioral scores, financial information, among others.Collaborate with data science team to leverage advanced data analytics capabilitiesCollaborate with the hub team, broader global team, or other functional teams to obtain specific subject matter expertise as neededIdentify solutions and recommendations that address client objectives and result in performance improvement, leveraging relevant VCA methodologies, frameworks, and global best practicesDesign and deliver compelling presentations to illustrate findings, ideas, recommendations within consulting engagements and more broadlySupport implementation of VCA recommendations or client initiatives, using project management and problem-solving frameworks
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
What do you need:
Fluent Japanese and at least business level English proficiency8 years of professional experience in relevant fieldsDeep experience and a track record of high performance in strategy consulting or corporate strategySuperior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigorStrong team orientation with a collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible style. Able to work effectively in a matrixed organizationExcellent detail orientation, ensuring the highest level of quality/rigor in reports and data analysisExcellent presentation skills, including strong oral and written capabilitiesSelf-motivated, results-oriented individual with the ability to progress multiple priorities concurrentlyExperience in and passion for the power of analytics to inform and drive strategy and tactics, and proven ability to generate insights from data
What will also help:
Experience in payments, the retail banking industry, or technologyAn understanding of statistical analysis, modelling, scoring schemes, etc. Visa is an EEO Employer.
