About this role
This role is responsible for all aspects of the client's billing and accounting activities, ensuring timeliness, accuracy of inputs/outputs relating to member billing and GOC activities. This hands-on role requires good accounting and finance background, data management/ queries skills and taking a solutions-oriented approach. The role may include:
Review newly executed Issuer and Acquirer contracts to assess Visa's contractual pricing obligationsLog and maintain key contract terms in the contract database. Analyze newly executed contracts to assess appropriate billing and accounting implicationsPrepare complex pricing adjustment calculations (both accrual and cash basis)Provide guidance to the Billing team on appropriate billing system changes related to contractsSupport Account Executives, Pricing Strategy and the Deal team on ad-hoc data analysis and requestsDevelop in-depth knowledge of Visa core billing and reporting systemsDevelop new and maintain existing financial models to monitor revenue and pricing compliance on a monthly or quarterly basisReview and approve complex journal entries and communicate complex business issues to the team or stakeholdersExperience in general accounting, flux analysis, reconciliations, manual journal entries and analytical research of accounting issuesPerform ongoing reviews of revenue operations’ process and controls to mitigate the risks of potential errors.Contribute to continuous enhancements to increase value add and process simplificationsEstablish and maintains relationships across a broad base of stakeholders, specifically regional teams and serves as a key point of contact for Rev Ops issuesSupport ad-hoc analysis and projects, as neededThis is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)A qualified CPA equivalent or master’s degree in accounting/ finance with 4+ years of relevant experienceGood working knowledge of English and SpanishChallenge the status quo, be curious and bold to advocate for changes that bring value and eliminate manual tasks.Detail-oriented with proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment with minimal supervisionTeam oriented, collaborative, motivated, adaptable and flexibleAbility to proactively recognize and resolve issuesKnowledge of advanced Microsoft Excel modules (e.g., Power Query) and Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., Power BI, Power Automate) is a plus.
