About this role
The VCA team is looking for an Analyst to join our consulting practice and play a role developing high impact projects for Visa’s clients in Mexico. The potential candidate will be responsible for delivering and implementing projects across our customer base, as well as support business development activities. This person will develop initiatives to promote sustainable and profitable growth, thereby ensuring that Visa is both, the preferred brand and unique business partner.
Potential engagements could include product development, program launch, customer acquisition, customer life cycle optimization, retention enhancement, benchmark analysis, profitability enhancement and others.
Essential functions include:
Proactively engage with Visa's and VCA's internal teams in planning and project execution discussions, cultivate and support the management of a pipeline of work with our partners.Support the development of consulting initiatives working closely with managers and directors in identifying potential opportunities with issuers, merchants and other key players.Develop frameworks, approaches, solutions and recommendations that effectively and efficiently address client opportunities and challengesHelp build solutions, analyses and actionable insights that will help clients achieve their business objectivesPartner with peers in other functional areas and across global regional teams to execute projects in ways that leverage the breadth and depth of Visa’s resourcesAbility to effectively manipulate and analyze large data sets to determine meanings insights and recommendations for clientsDocument best practices and sanitize deliverables to support the development of VCAs intellectual capitalThis is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Basic Qualifications:
2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)Fully Bi-lingual: English / Spanish
Preferred Qualifications:
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)Degree in Economics, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration or Actuary2-3 years of work experience (at least 1-2 years of experience in Consulting, Investment Banking, Payment Industry, Product Development or Business Strategy is desirable)Knowledge and experience in project management, database management, process optimization, and professional level presentation developmentStrong analytical skills with intellectual and analytical rigorCapacity to structure complex problems, understanding the different alternatives for their solution.
