About this role
Diagnose and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, including but not limited to GERD, IBS, IBD, and liver diseases
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, and flexible sigmoidoscopy
Evaluate and manage both acute and chronic GI conditions in outpatient and inpatient settings
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including primary care, surgery, and oncology, to optimize patient care
Participate in on-call rotation for hospital consults and emergencies
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and procedures
Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive care
Qualifications:
Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
Ability to obtain a Texas medical license or have a Texas medical license in good standing.
