About this role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Virtual Leasing Agent to support our property management operations remotely. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of U.S. property management practices and hands-on experience with Section 8 housing programs. In this role, you will manage leasing inquiries, qualify leads, coordinate showings, and guide applicants through the leasing process from first contact to move-in.
Key Responsibilities Handle inbound and outbound calls with prospective tenants in a professional and friendly manner. Pre-screen applicants based on property criteria and assist with application processing. Manage, track, and follow up with leasing leads to maximize conversion rates. Schedule and coordinate virtual and/or in-person property showings. Prepare and assist with leasing paperwork, including lease agreements and addendums. Support applicants through the Section 8 process and ensure compliance with requirements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Buildium and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar). Provide excellent customer service throughout the leasing journey. Collaborate with on-site teams to ensure smooth tenant onboarding and move-ins.Requirements
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in leasing, property management, or real estate support. Solid understanding of Section 8 / Housing Choice Voucher programs. Experience using Buildium or similar property management software. Proficient in Google Workspace tools. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Comfortable handling high volumes of inbound and outbound calls. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated in a remote work setting. Ability to multitask, prioritize leads, and meet leasing deadlines.Benefits
