Job Description Summary The Office of the CIO Operations Leader will be accountable for providing strategic leadership & best-in-class execution to deliver performant Financial Management, Program Management, Vendor Management, Application Portfolio Management, Employee Engagement, Lean & Communications capabilities across the Electrification Systems (ESY) Digital Technology (DT) function. This is a highly visible role within Electrification Systems and across GE Vernova.
Job Description Essential Responsibilities
• Continuously improve and eliminate waste from existing processes & applications in partnership with the DT Leadership Team & stakeholders.
• Plan, implement & maintain new sustainable, scalable processes & applications to automate & lean work across the ESY DT function.
• Maintain & build upon existing Standard Work.
• Lead & drive transformation initiatives across the ESY DT function.
• Hold the ESY DT Leadership Team, stakeholders & broader DT function accountable to Office of the CIO standards, driving expectations & conformance with intensity & rigour.
• Own the end-to-end ESY DT budgeting, latest estimate & reporting processes to deliver accurate forecasts, cost control & compliant spend.
• Define & enforce the ESY DT program governance to deliver on scope, schedule, quality & budget.
• Own the ESY DT vendor lifecycle to ensure compliant, timely engagements, Purchase Orders & effective performance management.
• Govern the ESY DT Application Portfolio Management processes & data to maintain a complete, current, accurate application inventory & drive lifecycle decisions.
• Lead the ESY DT engagement cadence to strengthen the culture & employee experience.
• Champion Lean to institutionalise standards, coach teams & drive measurable continuous improvement.
• Develop & execute a clear, consistent, two-way communication plan across the ESY DT function.
• Ensure conformance to compliance standards and incorporation of IT best practices.
• Establish a culture of lean, innovation, high-performance, collaboration, inclusiveness, respect, and integrity.
• Motivate, inspire, and mentor team members to achieve measurable goals and develop DT talents.
Qualifications / Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in 'STEM' field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of work experience in Digital Technology leading complex, diverse projects.
• Demonstrated ability of working with executive-level stakeholders to drive process improvement changes.
• Proven leadership experience managing geographically dispersed teams across multiple functional disciplines in a matrix environment.
• Adaptable & flexible with the capability to change in response to new information.
• Must be willing to travel 15%
• Work out of an Electrification Systems office.
