Job Description What you’ll do
• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Analyze and report financial results for specific legal entities in accordance with US GAAP, ensuring full regulatory compliance at the entity level. • Regulatory & Tax Alignment: Support the annual financial reporting cycle, including the reconciliation process between US GAAP, local statutory reporting, and tax filing requirements. • Accounting Accuracy & Oversight: Oversee the timely application of required accounting adjustments to ensure full compliance with US GAAP standards and accurate legal entity performance reporting. • Historical Data Integrity: Take ownership of resolving historical accounting discrepancies related to statutory and tax adjustments to ensure clean financial records. • Audit Management: Support the annual financial and tax audits to ensure data accuracy and process transparency. • Systems & Contract Governance: Provide oversight to ensure that accounting systems and contract set-ups are correctly configured to maintain compliance with legal entity reporting standards. • Process Improvement: Participate in regional and global initiatives aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of legal entity financial reporting. • Ad-Hoc Reporting: Provide flexible support for specialized financial inquiries, such as customs audits, government specific audits, and other regulatory matters.
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from an accredited university or college • Significant experience in audit, accounting and/or controllership functions within a corporate environment • Fluent English knowledge is essential • Process mindset with proven capability in a cross / sub functional environment • US GAAP and Statutory & Tax basic knowledge including any audit support experience • Clear thinker / communicator and comfortable making proposals and decisions
What will make you stand out
• Strong understanding of accounting requirements within the energy or industrial sector, with experience in consolidated financial statements and legal entity reporting • Familiarity with international transfer pricing methodologies TNMM and tax concepts, including WHT considerations. • Experience utilizing enterprise-level financial and project management systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) • Strong attention to detail & improvement mindset • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and senior stakeholders across a global organization.

• Successful applicant will be legally eligible to enter into an employment relationship under the laws of Hungary • This is a hybrid role with three days remote and two days in the office.
