Job Description Chief of Staff, Risk Advisory Genpact · Risk & Compliance Practice (Banking & Financial Services) About the role Senior risk advisory leaders at Genpact run a demanding portfolio. Live client engagements across banking and financial services. New business and proposals. A growing delivery team. Stakeholders spread across India, Australia, and several time zones in between. This role exists to multiply what those leaders can get done. As Chief of Staff you are the leader's right hand and the connective tissue of the practice. You turn priorities into action, keep important things from slipping, and make sure the leadership team walks into every meeting a step ahead. Part strategist, part operator, part editor. The common thread is ownership. When something needs to happen, you make it happen. To be clear about what this is not: it isn't a calendar-management job. It's a seat close to the decisions, built for someone who wants to understand how a consulting practice actually runs and help run it. What the role actually involves Run the operating rhythm. Own the cadence of the practice: leadership meetings, delivery reviews, planning sessions. Set the agenda, capture decisions, and chase the actions that come out of them so follow-through is real and not theoretical. Make the leadership sharp on paper. Build and polish the materials senior leaders take into high-stakes rooms. Board and executive updates, client proposals, capability decks, quarterly business reviews. You'll often start from a rough brief and a verbal idea, and hand back something ready to present. Keep a line of sight across delivery. Hold a clear view of every active engagement. Track progress, surface risks early, and flag what leaders need to know before it turns into a problem they hear about from the client first. Support the commercial engine. Help with pricing, statements of work, resource planning, and utilisation. Pull the numbers, model the options, and frame the trade-offs so decisions get made with eyes open. Own the projects that fall between roles. Take on the cross-cutting work no single function owns. A new capability build, an internal process that needs fixing, a market-facing push. Scope it, run it, land it. Connect the dots. Move information across teams, functions, and geographies. You'll often be the person who knows what's happening everywhere, and who makes sure the right people are actually talking to each other. What you bring

• Four to six years in consulting or professional services, whether that's a Big Four firm, a consulting practice, or a corporate advisory team. You understand how engagements run and how to operate around senior people. • Real exposure to risk, compliance, or financial services. You can hold an intelligent conversation about the work without needing every acronym explained. • A genuine talent for executive-quality decks and writing. You think in structure and can make a complicated story land on a single slide. • Comfort with ambiguity. Hand you a vague ask and you'll work out what's actually needed and move on it without hand-holding. • High command of the tools. PowerPoint and Excel at a strong level, plus the instinct to pick up whatever else the job throws at you. • Discretion and presence. You can be trusted with sensitive information and hold your own with senior stakeholders, internally and in front of clients. Bonus points

• Domain depth in banking and financial services: non-financial risk, third-party risk management, operational resilience, or regulatory change. • Experience working across global delivery and multiple geographies, particularly India and NAM. What good looks like Six months in, the leaders you support spend noticeably less time on logistics and more on the work only they can do. Nothing important slips. And when a hard question lands in a meeting, the answer, or at least the analysis behind it, is already in the room. The practical details
