About this role
The University of Warwick is seeking a Content Manager to lead the creation, management, and optimisation of digital content across multiple platforms. This is a key role in delivering engaging, consistent, and personalised user experiences that reflect Warwick’s brand, values, and strategic objectives.
Please note the role is fixed term until July 2027
As Content Manager, you will:
Lead and mentor a team of Digital Content Editors, fostering collaboration, creativity, and high editorial standards.
Develop and deliver content strategies that enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and improve performance across digital channels.
Ensure consistency and quality through governance frameworks, tone of voice guidelines, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to align content with institutional messaging and strategic goals.
Monitor performance and optimise content using analytics, audits, and sector benchmarking to ensure relevance and impact.
What we’re looking for:
Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or Digital Media.
Ideally 3–5 years’ experience in content creation and strategy execution.
Proven experience with CMS platforms and supporting DXP tools (DAM, CMP, analytics).
Strong knowledge of SEO, UX, accessibility standards, and digital marketing principles.
Experience in leading teams and maintaining governance frameworks for content delivery.
