Role Summary:
The Pump Technician will be responsible for refurbishing rotating equipment in the workshop, from technical assessment through to shipment. The position also involves occasional on-site interventions at customer locations. The technician will have access to the most modern tools in our facility to meet these requirements and ensure the delivery of a product that meets customer expectations.
Your Role:
Reporting to the Agency Manager and supported by the Technical Reference person, the Repair Technician is responsible for carrying out the following main tasks within the workshop:
• Receiving equipment from suppliers and customers in accordance with established procedures,
• Disassembling and cleaning equipment for technical inspection,
• Performing technical assessments and identifying defective parts to be ordered,
• Reassembly, testing, and painting,
• Preparing equipment for shipment.
Additional Assigned Tasks: In compliance with company objectives and policies:
• Participation in safety, quality, and operational improvement initiatives,
• Short-term interventions at customer sites for commissioning or troubleshooting,
• Active participation in workshop organization and cleanliness, as well as first-level maintenance of workshop equipment,
• Use of forklifts and lifting equipment.
Your Profile:
• Training in general mechanics or maintenance, ideally with some basic knowledge of turning and milling on conventional machines,
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and sketches,
• Knowledge of mechanics, materials, and rotating machinery would be an advantage,
• Ability to work both in a team and independently,
• Strong organizational skills; meticulous and well-organized,
• Basic knowledge of German and/or English.
