About this role
Summary The Flowserve campus in Etten-Leur is your workplace. We are talking about 5 buildings, 30 CNC machines, 20,000 m² of grounds, and 150 workspaces where you, together with 2 other colleagues, will take care of all facility-related matters. Every day brings new challenges—no two days are the same. Colleagues moving internally? You arrange it. A roller door is broken? You make sure it gets repaired. Do you see improvements? You start a project and ensure it gets executed. You take pride in attention to detail. You notice issues and resolve them before anyone else even realizes there’s a problem. For this role, we are looking for an enthusiastic hands-on professional—someone proactive and practical, but also a team player. You’ll work closely with both internal colleagues and external contractors. Naturally, you communicate clearly and keep all agreements properly documented in the system.
Your Responsibilities
• You handle planned activities and coordinate them, updating the central maintenance schedule
• You process (fault) reports related to buildings, building installations, sites, and transport equipment through the facility service desk
• You easily switch between tasks and set priorities
• Your role consists of approximately:
• 30% coordinating and managing work and external contractors
• 70% hands-on work
• In case of a call outside working hours, you can be on-site within a reasonable time to investigate the issue
Your Profile
• An MBO level 3 or 4 diploma, preferably in facility management or building construction/engineering
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Good computer skills, especially in MS Office
• A valid driver’s license (Category B) and living within a 25 km radius of Etten-Leur
• Proactive, assertive, communicative, helpful, and dedicated
• Good command of Dutch and English (spoken and written)
• A positive and energetic personality looking for a varied job with growth opportunities
What We Offer
• A salary between €3,500 and €4,500 per month, depending on experience, plus a monthly on-call allowance
• A one-year contract
• A 5% year-end bonus and 8% holiday allowance
• Training opportunities such as emergency response (BHV), forklift certification, and more
• 27 vacation days plus 13 additional (ADV) days per year
• A sustainable employability program
• An open, pleasant, and informal working environment with good support
