Role summary:
Serves as a technical Workday Integration Specialist , leading integration projects, maintaining functional configurations, and ensuring accurate documentation, testing, and audit compliance. Provides Tier 3 support by analyzing and resolving complex system issues, coordinating with technology partners, and proactively improving system performance and security. Your role:
• Serves as a technical specialist for HR Data & Technology
• Lead projects to configure new integrations between systems.
• Knowledge of XSLT and other languages necessary for modifying and troubleshooting existing integrations
• Develop, review, and update system documentation during changes or new implementations
• Perform thorough problem analysis, including problem re-creation, resulting in resolution
• Tier 3 support for HR Data & Technology integration cases within case management system
• Coordinate with Technology Partners to learn and document resolution for Tier 3 support
• Project Coordination as needed
• Coordinate multiple phases of testing, including writing test plans and test scripts, performing system testing, and supporting user testing
• Build or maintain functional configuration including custom validations, condition rules, and calculated fields
• Researches and minimizes reported problems or pain points within HR platforms drives resolution of issues, analyzes security issues, and recommends corrective and proactive action
• Prepares and distributes Internal Audit and SOX Controls Documentation
Your profile:
• BS or BA Degree in a relevant field is desired or 5+ years of experience
• Advanced understanding and demonstrated abilities in support of complex analysis of current and future system development, evaluations of new applications or vendors, and ability to drive automation in a complex environment
• Advanced knowledge of types of integrations supported by Workday such as Orchestrate, Core Connectors, custom Workday Studio integrations, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) and API based connections (SOAP/REST) desired.
• Intermediate knowledge of HR functions and business rules including payroll, compensation, recruiting, and staffing practices and benefits
• Deep experience in the configuration and design of workflows and business rules
• Experience administering case management systems, such as Neocase
• Hands on experience performing system testing, writing test scripts, and supporting UAT
• Familiarity with SOX controls, audit processes, and HR data quality
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Self-reliant and effective problem-solver generating high-quality and innovative solutions in a timely fashion.
