Key Responsibilities Project Execution & Coordination
• Assist Store Development Managers in coordinating end-to-end fit-out and construction activities, from design development through to site handover. • Conduct site visits for measurement verification, existing condition assessment, and coordination with consultants, contractors, and landlords. • Monitor on-site progress to ensure execution aligns with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and timelines. • Support the review and coordination of shop drawings, method statements, material submissions, and as-built documentation. • Proactively identify site issues and coordinate timely resolution with relevant stakeholders.
Quality, Cost & Schedule Control
• Ensure all fit-out and construction works comply with UNIQLO brand standards, safety requirements, and applicable local regulations. • Support cost control by reviewing fit-out scope, specifications, and value engineering opportunities without compromising quality. • Track project progress against timelines and milestones, highlighting risks, delays, and mitigation actions. • Assist in maintaining proper documentation for variation orders, site instructions, and project records.
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders (Merchandising, Operations, IT, Procurement, and Finance) to ensure smooth project execution and store readiness. • Liaise with external stakeholders including landlords, consultants, contractors, and authorities to ensure timely approvals and execution. • Support alignment between design intent, site execution, and operational requirements during the fit-out process. • Prepare and maintain clear project reports, updates, and documentation for management review.
Required Skills & Competencies
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit (beginner level required). • Strong understanding of retail fit-out processes and construction fundamentals. • Good coordination and communication skills in a multi-stakeholder environment. • Detail-oriented with strong sense of execution and quality control. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. • Working proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Interior Design, or related field. • 1–3 years of experience in retail fit-out, and construction management consultancy. Fresh graduates with strong technical competencies and internship exposure in relevant projects are encouraged to apply.
• Hands-on experience in retail or commercial project execution is preferred. • Beginner in design and technical software, including AutoCAD/SketchUp/3ds Max, with attention to detail and a practical understanding of construction drawings and site execution. • Good project coordination and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under tight timelines & high attention to detail. • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (leasing, construction, vendors, store teams). • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
