Role Overview / Purpose and Scope

The Data Coordinator is responsible for collecting, organizing, analyzing, and reporting operational data to support daily and weekly business needs. This role works closely with cross-functional departments to ensure accurate, timely, and useful reporting that supports decision-making, operational performance tracking, and continuous improvement.

The Data Coordinator plays an important role in helping Operations leadership understand trends, monitor performance, identify discrepancies, and make data-informed decisions. This position requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, organization, communication skills, and comfort working with large amounts of data in Excel in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, verify, and organize operational data from multiple systems and departments.

• Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and ad hoc operational reports.

• Maintain and update spreadsheets, databases, trackers, and reporting tools.

• Review data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.

• Identify data discrepancies and communicate issues to the appropriate teams.

• Support Operations leadership with reporting needs, trend analysis, and performance tracking.

• Create and maintain standardized report formats and documentation.

• Work cross-functionally with departments to gather required information and ensure reporting deadlines are met.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing accurate and actionable data.

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information.

• Use Excel and other reporting tools to organize, analyze, and present operational information.

• Manage multiple reporting priorities in a timely and accurate manner.

• Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders regarding reporting needs, data questions, discrepancies, and deadlines.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation

Compensation Range: $22.75 an hour

The posted compensation range for this role should reflect the minimum and maximum amount Farmer Focus in good faith expects to pay at the time of posting, based on factors such as internal equity, relevant experience, market data, and the budgeted amount available for the position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Mid-level Excel skills required, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas and data analysis, and filtering and sorting large datasets.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree.

• Previous experience in data entry, reporting, operations support, administrative coordination, or a related role.

• Experience in a manufacturing, production, food processing, poultry processing, or operations environment.

• Experience preparing daily, weekly, or ad hoc operational reports.

• Experience supporting trend analysis, performance tracking, continuous improvement, or leadership reporting needs.

• Experience working with large datasets in Excel or other reporting systems.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Travel

Work is conducted primarily in an office environment but may require access to the production environment as needed. The team member must be able to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods of time. When accessing production areas, the team member must be able to tolerate varying heat, wet, and chill conditions within the plant. Hearing and eye-protective equipment are required in the production area. Hair and beard nets are required in the production area. Additional personal protective equipment may be required based on task, location, and safety requirements. This role requires regular use of computers, Excel, reporting tools, spreadsheets, databases, email, phones, and other office equipment. The schedule may vary based on operational needs.
