SCOPE
• Plan and execute actions for Suppliers qualification, supplier performance management, prevention activities and continuous improvement.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Contact and source of Supplier Quality information. • Ensure a good relationship with peers, other team members and plant Supplier Quality teams. • Ensure collaboration with R&D, Quality, Plant Supplier Quality and Procurement for projects and actions. • Support R&D for part approval with supplier cross plants, process knowledge and input to and feedback form suppliers. • Establish plans to ensure Supplier readiness to SOP with focus on Prevention, PFMEA, PCP, PPAP documentation. • Pre-production activities before Sourcing Board decisions. • Create and follow up Supplier action list. • Create and follow up Audit plan. • Execute Process audits and Follow-up based on Projects, Sourcing Board or audit requests. • Ensure support for Quality Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement in collaboration with Quality for assigned projects. • Cross plant and Cross Regional support for prevention. Minimize firefighting activities. • Lead and Drive Supplier Quality improvements. • Support Suppliers Development team in their actions. • Create clear reporting on targets and follow up. Monthly reporting about status and next steps. • Escalate Quality problems to direct manager if no progress or no willingness from supplier.
COMPETENCES AND SKILLS NEEDED
• Ability to deal with other functions peers and top management. • Ability to coordinate set goals and priorities for multiple project activities while keeping the set timelines. • Operational experience in parts qualification flow, delivering of product launch (SOP), lead time drivers, material flow, planning. • Expertise of components manufacturing processes. • Proficiency of QA tools and methodologies: FMEA, SPC, MSA, 5S, PDCA, …. • Understanding of SCR (Service Call Rate) and PPM impact to an industrial environment. • Experience in guiding suppliers through requirements, expectations, technical documents, specifications and drawings etc. • Knowledge of main international Quality Standards (i/e: ISO 9000, IATF 16949, ….).

EDUCATION
• Engineering or Technical bachelor’s degree is mandatory. • 2nd or 3rd party Auditor qualification is additional and preferential.
EXPERIENCE
• Min 3–5-year experience in Suppliers Quality, Quality, R&D, Purchasing. • Experience in Home Appliances or Automotive industry is preferential. • Experience preferred in following component groups: • Mechanical/Electro-mechanical • Metal components • Motors, compressors • Complex assembly and test operations
