Resend is growing fast, and there are now over 1 million developers using our product. We're looking for an Open Source Engineer to help build and maintain our developer tools ecosystem. This role will be crucial in creating high-quality, open source packages that enhance our platform's developer experience and community engagement.

In this role you will...Build and maintain react.email for developers to integrate with/without Resend

Design and implement developer tools that simplify building emails

Contribute to open standards and collaborate with the developer community

Document and showcase integration patterns and best practices

Triage and resolve issues in our public repositories and engage with contributors

You will be a perfect fit if you...Have 5 years of software engineering experience

Are fluent in writing and speaking English

Can consistently work in Americas timezone

You love helping other developers

You will be an exceptional fit if you also...Have experience maintaining open source projects and managing community contributions

Have deep experience with TypeScript and multiple programming languages

Are skilled at writing clear technical documentation

Have experience with CI/CD for package publishing and release automation
