About this role

Senior Executive Assistant to General Partner - Investment Firm

Compensation: $125K - $150K

Location: New York City, USA (Fully Office-Based Required)

We are a premier global investment firm focused on the future of decentralized technology and blockchain ecosystems. Since 2018, we have partnered with over 150 visionary startups, combining deep technical expertise with a hands-on approach to help founders scale transformative projects. As a highly institutionalized fund, we manage relationships with some of the world’s most sophisticated investors, including sovereign wealth funds and global endowments.

We are seeking a senior, high-trust Executive Assistant to work directly with our Founder. This is not a traditional administrative role; it is a high-leverage position designed for a strategic thinker who can operate in ambiguity and act as a true extension of the Founder. You will be responsible for filtering noise, synthesizing complex information, and ensuring that strategic priorities are executed with precision.

As we transition our global operations to a new flagship office in New York City, this role will be central to maintaining the Founder's momentum and organizational clarity.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Leverage & Prioritization: Own the Founder’s calendar and inbox, prioritizing tasks based on strategic importance rather than just urgency. Proactively close "open loops" from meetings and calls without needing prompts.Communication & Synthesis: Draft high-level executive communications and presentations. You will watch call recordings to extract key decisions and produce synthesized meeting summaries (not just raw notes).Content & Presence: Assist in creating short-form content (such as tweet threads) and managing professional messaging on social platforms with appropriate judgment and tone.Relationship Management: Research high-impact individuals within the investment ecosystem, support outbound networking, and handle low-priority inbound inquiries to protect the Founder’s time.Investment & Research Support: Assist with market and thematic research to maintain momentum across day-to-day investment activities.Hiring & Logistics: Support hiring workflows (interviews/coordination) and provide backup support for high-stakes events, travel, and logistics during peak periods.Requirements

Experience: Strong preference for candidates with a background in investment, finance, or capital markets.Location: Must be based in New York City or willing to relocate immediately. This is a fully office-based role.Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to write concisely for an executive audience.Judgment: High level of discretion and the ability to act as a "filter" for the Founder, identifying high-leverage opportunities and neutralizing low-value distractions.Mindset: A "bias for action" and the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.Technical Literacy: Comfortable using modern digital tools to track tasks, synthesize data, and manage social media workflows.Benefits

Competitive Compensation: Competitive base salary ($125K - $150K) plus equity/carry, allowing you to share in the long-term success of the firm.High-Impact Environment: Work at the center of the global blockchain and venture capital ecosystem.Professional Growth: This role is designed to evolve from a supportive function into a strategic partnership with the Founder.Culture: Join a team of technical operators and strategic thinkers who value a "founder-friendly" and helpful approach to capital.
