Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for an AI Automation Engineer / Operations Systems Engineer (Health Tech) for one of our partners, a global leader in software development.
This position requires flexibility to work on US times.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement AI-powered workflows that automate routine operations tasks while keeping humans in the loop for exceptionsPartner closely with operations teams to understand real-world processes and translate them into scalable systemsBuild systems that handle triggers, data gathering, decision-making, actions, and multi-channel communication (SMS/chat/calls)Architect human–AI collaboration models (orchestrated tasks vs. true escalations)Ensure reliability, monitoring, auditability, and graceful failure of AI systems in production
Core Use Cases You’ll Work On
EVV rejection resolution and caregiver follow-upsAuthorization expiration monitoring and renewalsCaregiver onboarding across multiple systemsCompliance-driven patient check-ins and triage
Requirements
2+ years of experience is required.Strong software engineering background with experience building production systemsExperience designing workflow automation, task orchestration, or ops toolingHands-on experience integrating AI/LLMs via APIs (e.g., Claude, OpenAI, etc.)Systems thinker who can reason about scale, failure modes, and trade-offsComfortable working in ambiguous, cross-functional environmentsStrong written and verbal communication skills
Nice to HaveHealth tech, Medicaid/Medicare, EVV, or regulated industry experienceExperience building internal tools for operations teamsFamiliarity with human-in-the-loop AI systems and reliability monitoring
